Allurecurls N Curves

Indira Nagar ,Bangalore

Summary: The service is average. Bodycraft that is nearby has much better service agents and more professional service compared to this joint. Details: They had advertised on http://www.snapdeal.com/deals-Bangalore wherein we could get a discount on the services by paying a minimal price to that website. I choose this and luckily did not pay full amount!! When I called up to fix an appointment, they asked me if I had coupons to which I replied in the affirmative. On going there and asking for a facial and a pedicure, the lady who managed the front desk took me aside and tried to convince me about going for a package as that would give me best results. The package was worth a couple of thousand and she told me about a discount, etc. I basically wanted to try out their services before even deciding to visit them again, let alone buy a face rejuvenation package in my first visit! After unsuccessfully trying to convince me for 20 mins, she told me that only the cheapest pedicure is available. Their cheapest pedicure costs Rs.350 and their most expensive pedicure is at Rs.750 with the other ones ranging in-between. I wanted to go for the Spa pedicure since I had enough coupons. All I got for a response was No sir no sir, only this pedicure. Well, did not have much of a choice and agreed for it. Now for the facial bit, I decided to go for a fresh fruit facial (cost Rs.800) but the lady told me that they would accept discount coupons for a max bill value of only Rs.1000 per visit. Now this was nowhere mentioned in Snapdeal or in their website. I was surprised and asked her about it. She told me that this was in the terms and conditions but snapdeal forgot to print it! Sigh! So I settled for a deep cleansing facial. Pedicure - they took me to a very small room cluttered with stuff and that had water on the floor. yuck! luckily i did not place my feet on the floor. Here, the operator asked whether I had coupons before starting. I had a doubt if the service to people with and without coupons was different but kept it to myself :). The pedicure was average but the enthusiasm of the guy (he told me he was from the N'East) performing the pedicure was good. I actually came home and removed some dirt from next to my toenail. (sorry for grossing you out but that example would highlight the effectiveness of the pedicure) Facial - The facial was average again (luckily in the next, slightly more spacious room) and I asked for the dirty sheets to be changed before placing myself on that small bed. After coming back I broke out into small pimples on my chin. No facials here ever again. Here also, the operator asked whether I had coupons before starting. Strange, no idea why it concerns the operator! I still had two coupons and decided to try a back massage & pedicure one more time before judging them. I believe that one should give a place two chances before I decided to give it a bad rating. I called them on the last day of the coupon validity [25th Sep] when they told me that all appointments were full. However the lady told me that she could extend the validity by one day as all appointments were full and asked me to come the next day. When I called them up on 25th, they obviously refused to extend any validity and the lady on the phone (different one) claimed that the other lady would not have told me something like that. Next time, I plan to record calls on my cell phone! :) So no second visit to aspirations, ever. I have been to Bodycraft which is nearby and they provide much better and more professional service for pretty much similar rates. Also the next time you buy something from Snapdeal, call and check for T&C that Snapdeal may not have printed. You decide! blr.reviewer@gmail.com
