Me and my family have been patrons of Satgurus Arts and Crafts for many years now and have always admired the variety of art available there and the different framing options.
A couple of weeks back my wife visited their flagship store in Khar (west), Mumbai to explore some options for frames for our home and her experience there was shocking to say the least.
1) No sooner had she entered the store and was browsing around she was approached by one of the staff there and very rudely informed that as per store policy they dont allow artists or students inside the store. My wife who is neither an artist or a student was slightly taken aback at this suggestion but informed the staff that she was there to look at frames and not paintings.
