i had a horrible experience with OLA. i was asked to get down from the car after 3 kms of trip start. Driver told me his car has been blocked by the OLA team due to some issues. Called customer care and asked him to speak to the driver. Soon there was a verbl fight between them on phone. after wasting 20 mins, i had to get down from the cab. With no connectivity to my place from there, i had search for auto-rickshaws and take 3 of them to reach my home. total travel time = 3 hours! I was an alone woman stranded on streets. This is definitely not how a cab service should function. This cab service should be banned and women especially should never risk booking such irresponsible, ill-mannered and immature cab service. I'd requested a car from Ola cabs at 7:30 pm, Jan 25th. Four hour package, within Bangalore.

At 7:20pm, I called the driver whose number was sent to me - he said he was far away and another cab would be sent.The, I called the call centre, and they seemed to have no idea about this development - they just resent the same driver's number.

I tried the call centre many times after that. They said they would look for another vehicle and get back to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor - same thing - I was told that someone would get back to me. No one did.

Till now, I have not received a call or text from Ola . No car was sent. My family missed a very important appointment because of this.

Hi, I booked a cab from Bangalore to Tirupati for 2 days (25th Dec. to 26 Dec.) whose CRN is 3916172. The driver was Lakshminarayana (Mob. No. 8197796632). I would like to brief the troubles i had with the driver & cab provided. 1. Directions: The driver didnât know the way to Tirupati. He got confused 2 times while going to Tirupati, then got confused how to go back from Tirumala (which is the place where the temple is in Tirupati) to Tirupati, then got confused from Tirupati back to Bangalore. We went to Tirupati from Bangalore to Chittoor, took the bypass road to avoid the city traffic of Chittor. On way back, he got confused & got into the city Chittoor. Our time was wasted because of the traffic as well as Kilometres because he ... View More didnât know the directions. The shocking thing is the driver didnât even asked the directions from people. He asked us to ask from the people on the road. As a North Indian, we had troubles asking directions. This was just the first trouble we had. 2. Canât Relax in the car: The driver asked us not to eat in the car as it will dirty the car. The car was already so much dusty from inside, one couldnât have added more to it. My father who sat in front with the driver tried to sit with his one leg crossed & put over other. The driver told him that he couldnât sit like that way because his legs are touching the closet. Just tell me one thing, the legs of persons sitting behind touching the seat, the legs of middle person sitting behind touching the handbrake or the gear, how are these any different from the legs touching the closet. And, if i am not allowed to relax in the car or sit as i want in the car, then what i am paying for? Just to sit in the card with out moving your body? 3. Continuous asking for money: The driver continuously asked for money. First day while going to Triupati, he asked for Rs. 1900 for fuel which i happily paid. Next Day he asked for Rs. 1000 for himself. Then after bearing these problems, when i complained to your office that either you ask the driver to be polite with us & donât trouble us or we will leave the cab here in Tirupati only, they called the driver & asked him about this. I donât know what they talked because the driver talked in Kannada. The driver asked again for Rs. 1500 for fuel & threatened us that âNow i have taken almost full money for the trip, how will you leave the cab in the middle of trip?â. This was the response of the driver when we complaint against him on call to olacabs. 4. Sudden Change in Behaviour of Driver: As i wrote above, after complaining against him, he threatened us by taking our money and there was a sudden change in behaviour of the driver. He turned off the AC saying that we complaint against him, so he will turn off the AC. After a lot of arguments with him saying we will further complaint again, he somehow turned on the AC. 5. Shocking Break Down of the Cab in the middle of Journey: Just before 100 Kms from Bangalore while coming back, he stopped the car on the side of road & said that the car is having troubles due to leakage of oil & i canât drive it further. The shocking thing is this happened exactly at the point at which on our way to Tirupati, he stopped the car saying that he has to recharge the mobile, he chatted with some of the people for about 5-10 min. We thought they are his colleagues or something. So how did the car break down at that point only? After we told your service on call about the break down of the car & asked that whether we will be provided an alternate cab, the girl who attended the call said i will be getting a call in a few min which i didnât get for about half an hour, we had to take a Government Bus to come back to Bangalore. I have the tickets as proof of that. The Cab reading was 461 Km. Total charges= 461 X 8 (Rs. 8/km) + 200 X 2 (Rs. 200/day Driver Charges) + 200 (Night Driving Charges) = Rs. 4288. Total amount paid to the Driver Rs 4400. This was the service which was provided to us by Ola Cabs. Summarizing the above, one can think what was our experience with Ola Cabs View Less

No more OLA to OLA, just RIP !!!! I booked a packaged cab for full day from OLA for sunday noon 12:30. Cab was booked on saturday evening and they confirmed that cab is available. I had full day plan to take my relatives around bangalore. Even when I gave full correct address to call center while booking the cab, the driver called me at 12:15 and asked the address. When I told him the address, he suddenly disconnected without saying anything. After 5 mins, I called call center and they informed me that there is some miscommunication between driver and OLA, and driver has gone to wrong address. Had really very bad experiance with OLA cabs. the distance to lonavala from my place is 82 KM. Driver took a very long root and i reached at lonavala after two and half hour and km was 126. so i have paid more for 44km. when i complained to OLA cabs then they said i need to give direction to driver. if i need to give direction then what is the use to hire a cab with 10 rs/km? response from OLA cabs was pathetic and driver attitude was also not good.

Terrible! Dont even bother.....just stick to the reputed, known can companies.....esp if ur heading to the airport or have any other time-critical thing to get to. They started off very efficient, but have now fallen In their service tremendously! Had booked a cab in the morning for a late night flight. Got the confirmation & driver details message online, but when the time came for the pick-up no-one contacted us. When we called the driver he said he was already at his home & done for the day. Called the customer service & informed them of this. They said they'd look into the matter, & we didnt hear from them after, so had to repeated call them & be told the same excuses again, & eventually was given the same driver's number who'd refuse ... This is the worst cab service ever possible. You simply cannot trust these guys. Be it the helpdesk persons or the cab drivers, they simply do not understand the timelines that we give, they have their own to follow as per their convinence. That is for sure, if you rely on them, you would end up missing your flight/train. NEVER OPT FOR OLA CABS.

I have Booked Olacabs in Bangalore I have a good experience with their services.working women's can use olacabs with safe because they are having the Tracking facility which helps them to find the location and now they launched new Mobile app which is more helpful.
I have used the Olacabs Coupons from http://www.jingadeals.com/OlaCabs. and get a 20% discount while booking with olacabs.

Had a really bad experience. We booked a 4 hours cab and the driver was terrible. He didnt know any language other than Kannada. Its unbelievable that a person who drives in Bangalore cant even speak Hindi or Tamil. Worst part is he dont know any roads in Bangalore. It was a nightmare for us to travel with him in Bangalore. Since we knew roads, somehow we reached the location. Not sure why these Taxi services hire drivers like this. Will never recommend OLA cabs to anyone.
