It is now October 2013,,and Thamburan is by far one of the worst Kerala restaurant in OMR. Their non-veg food is horrible. They reuse the same oil for deep-frying all their orders. You would have fish smell and taste on chicken 65 and fry. The Chicken fry feels like chewing on rubber as thought they have been re-heated at least 2 times. The sides for the meals are soo spicy and without salt that one cannot consume them. The service is so bad that you have to wait for 10 minutes before anyone notices that a customer has come in. Later after your lunch, you have to wait for another 15 minutes at the counter to make a payment â âÂÂcause the one in-charge is also the guy serving and cleaning the place.

This hotel is the best that i have experienced so far and we have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so hot and busy nearby but once you enter the restaurant, the ambience changes. We always try to get back to the peace and tranquility of this restaurant.
The service and the food provided are classy.
We can state "Luxury meets value", this restaurant has commitment towards their customers and hence, provide excellent service.
Overall I would say this is probably the best restaurant we have ever went and enjoyed.
Few times they made me wait for long... But the taste and the authenticity still pulls me to Thamburan. Everytime I pass by OMR, I'm kind of tempted to drop in there. Yes, the food is really irresistible there.
