If a no hassle,no fuss evening/afternoon of drinks is what one has on his/her mind then good ol oly is the unequivocal answer..the liquor prices are the lowest out here,in all of park street..the food not the gourmet kind but good enough to fill oneself up with..the proximity to The Park is an added advantage because that means one has a pad to get high before moving into say tantra or aqua or SPE..liquor prices are exponentially higher wherein..besides the waiters are not very miserly in their measures and at times one does end up with more in his/her glass than one has actually paid for..and after the smoking ban the 'smoking zone' upstairs is hard to beat..whether or not because of its old world charm with little or no amenities and an A

Olypub is not just a pub but a place which has it's own enigma. For most people who have been to Oly, they have a set of memories associated with it. I for one, remember when I first went to Oly and was surprised to see the waiters pour booze on the table. Another thing I noticed on subsequent visits was - they become a little generous while pouring if you are a regular customer. This is an unsaid "Loyalty Program" The stake is brilliant. Another dish that you should definitely try at Oly is Chicken A-La-Kiev. Both of these are a big no-no if you are calorie conscious. I personally preferred sitting upstairs and that is what I recommend. There is no question that it is one of the cheapest places to hang out. I guess that is the reason most

If your sole aim is to get drunk and you don't want to spend too much...hop in to Olypub, no you won't get a good ambience, you won't have much choices for food...still Olypub has this feel of Calcutta, and that makes it so popular among revelers.
