ICKPAC: Within the campus of Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalores premier fine art college is the INTACH Chitrakala Parishath Art Conservation Centre (ICKPAC). For the last ten years, this centre has been functioning as a reputed art restoration and conservation centre. Here old and damaged paintings, sculptures, books, manuscripts, print and drawings are restored, and are given a new lease of life .After a meticulous diagnosis the causes of decay and damage are analyzed. Based on these findings, the art works are treated and steps are taken to prevent further deterioration. This state of the art treatment generally varies from two months to six months based on the condition of damage.
