I know its personal but i strongly feel it is not as bad as you say. The kind of service and equipment they have is very good for what they charge (IT's FREE). If you think you are gona get anything better in any other hospital in AP (including Apollo, Care, etc) please give it a try and let us know if they are any better. I BET those corporate hospitals are worse.
Sreekar I am sorry to hear about your friends family. May be its just our fate or time sometimes, I am sure our BHEL doctors dont kill anyone on purpose. They get nothing doing that. I feel its just having a more positive attitude towards live.
From my experiance our BHEL hospital usually refers cases to other major hospitals. Maybe ur friend was an unfortunate experiance.

Consulting a doctor is free and I feel most of them come to see a doctor even there is a very small issue. Doctors should keep in mind that there are patients who really need special attention.
Sreekar: It sucks man!! I know a family who lost 2 members of their family (mother and daughter) who were very close to my family.
