I agree with bee..the staff asked like "Did you ever buy jewellery from our shop?" after showing 5 pieces of jewels. They were very impatient to show the jewels as if i am not going to buy it. People always give respect to what we dress and i felt ashamed of this attitude..i will not buy it from this store anymore.I rated the service person good just to save his job.
customers are treated based on how they dress.. i was even askd where i work..wht has that got to do with the jewellery i want to buy.. will never visit it n would advice ppl not to do so as well...
We exchanged some diamond jewellery due to defective manufacturing(I believe) purchased from CKC Sons a few years back. I was charged making charges and wastage charges twice. once for the originally purchased item and again for the new item brought in exchange for originally purchased item considering current market rates of gold and diamonds. My fight with them was to charge making and wastage charges only for the delta gold difference as the returned jewellery were purchased from them.
Insist to talk with the directors and senior supervisors to discuss issues as the staff will give lame reasons to avoid talking to them. Demand certificate for diamonds. They wonât give voluntarily. This is my experience.
Cost of the diamonds falls ... View More into different pricing slabs based on carat weight of the diamonds (not part of 4Cs of diamonds), for which I had to shell out more. Well, I was not aware earlier, but anyhow, it was our choice.
We had also invested on their monthly gold scheme and had bad experiences and did not pursure further on closure of the scheme.
I anticipated good business ethics from firms like CKC, but that proved to be wrong. (Felt other smalltime traditional jewellers are better)
Also check for quality of every diamond stone in the jewellery/diamond ornaments. There is a belief with some that even one stone that has flaw will bring bad luck.
It is upto you to decide and how you want to spend your earnings/income. With the above said, My family has no interest to transact with them in future. ( who cares ? I am only a grain of sand in the desert).View Less
