I have also had a terrible experience at Hercules. I bough a football stud for my son and it came out on the very first day. On taking it back - they said they dont give guarantee and that we should take it to a cobbler and get it fixed. On insisting that there was bound to be a manufacturing defect for something to come out so fast, they said that my son must have misused it! a 6 year old boy misusing a football stud so badly that it comes off in the very first day! When I insisted to speaking to some manager, they connected me to one Raghu who saud that he cannot do anything about it. I just got a call from Mr Raghu, the director of Hercules - after I sent a message to his mobile. He told me categorically that I can go ahead and tweet or post in social media as much as I want as "indian consumer forgets everything n 2-3 days". I am aghast at the high handed attitude! I am so surprised that they do no understand that it not so much about one off transaction but about relationship!

These people are big fraud. They sold me a tennis racquet saying it has one year warranty. A manufacturing defect (which they acknowledged) appeared in form of a crack - 10 months later. When I went back I was comfortably shown the fine print "we dont give any guarantee on sports goods"...A sports shop selling only sports goods saying "we dont give any guarantee on sports goods". Never ever buy from any of the hercules sports shop.

I have purchased a Rodeo from this shop and during purchase they promised a free helmet (Sales man named Manjunath). It has been more then 6 months and I have atleast visited the shop more then 3 times and I got a reply saying no stock!!!! such a nonsense people they dont have any value for their words. Please be careful!!!
