i had been to ashraya seva trust on 25th feb for my friend's birthday celebration. the old age home's chairperson is K.T.Rani. the building is a rented building and over that these guys dont have a government grant, still the way the old aged women are taken care of is like they are their own kith and kin. Smt. K.T. Rani is a real social server in todays world. We could see that the inmates of the ashram lighted up everytime Smt K.T.Rani spoke to them. they were all happy laughing and dancing throughout our function. the area was also so clean and fresh which felt very homely. the food provided to them too is completely with their diet in mind. as its old age home limited sweet food and oil food is provided as most of them are diabetic. and ... I have been visiting 'Ashraya Seva Trust' from the past 2 years on regular intervals. all i have is Admiration for the lady who founded this trust , Mrs K.T Rani. The Ashram is located in a conjusted rented building on Dr.Rajkumar road, rajajinagar in which about 55 aged women are sheltered. The food provided to the sheltered women is pretty good. they have been well taken care of is what i feel. I think we need to support Mrs. Rani K T in the noble job she is doing , it is our responsibility to support her.

Before starting old age home, Founder of Ashraya Seva Trust, Smt. Rani used to run paying guest accomodation. She always meant business. Some how she could not make more money in PG business. She has a history of doing many odd jobs for money. Finally she is into old age "business" which has brought her money and success. Definitely she will plunge in to politics in the coming years. She is a black sheep.
