My experience with Agarwal packers and movers (bangalore not chennai) I recently used Agarwal movers (full packing and unpacking service) when i moved from brigade gateway apartments to golden grand apartments in bangalore which is 2 kms apart. I also had 6 large pieces of furniture which had to be moved to Salem - a city that is 200 km away. we were promised that all packing would be done on monday, moving in bangalore will also be done on monday and the move to salem would be done by tuesday morning. we were charged 46000 Rs which we paid upfront. what happened during the move was a nightmare 1- The furniture that was supposed to reach Salem did not reach on tuesday and every time we called we were told they would get back to ... Agarwal-Packers-Movers.com deletes all negative comments from their Facebook page instead of resolving them. Only 30% of the insurance amount can be claimed in case of partial damage.
I shifted my stuff twice. I got a good packer for the first time. Unluckily I got a bad packer the second time. After 100s of calls, their carpenter changed our broken glass with wrong sized class. The cost of wrong sized glass was deducted from the insurance amount. We were told that you cannot expect something similar to original.

Agarwal Packers and Movers, DRS group are one of the worst. We transported 14 cartons from Chennai to Mumbai and only 13 were delivered. One carton containing costly items like DSLR camera, Casio Keyboard, etc. was never delivered. Initially the staff and officials were very casual and abusive when we kept enquiring about the missing carton and after a few days they stopped answering our phone calls. I made atleat 100 calls and every time it was disconnected. Their Country Head, Mr. Raghuram, is one of the worst and very abusive. He did not reply to any of our mails and initially kept on telling lies that the carton will be delivered in a day or two. Subsequently he stopped answering the phone calls.
