NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go for advance booking with this hotel. They collect full booking amount in advance for Big luxorious rooms and when the tourist reaches Darjeeling, they dump them into cheap, small, dark, clumsy roadside lodges having nothing more than 4-walls and a roof over head. The lodges doesn't have minimum amenities. People doesn't know what is meant by basic "room services". Even we were offered small, box type rooms with NO WINDOW AT ALL. It happened with us in Oct'2011. The owner Mr. Lakhani sold our rooms at higher cost to running customers and forced us to stay in a roadside lodge (named LUK LODGE) near Darjeeling station.
