Shri Aurobindo Ashram: A centre for sadhana and a spiritual way of life. Inaugurated in 1956, Sri Aurobindo Ashram houses the relics of Sri Aurobindo and provides space for those who wish to completely give themselves up to the spiritual way of life, and live and work as equals. The shrine and meditation hall draw people from everywhere. There are satsangs and lectures held in the hall. There is a good library, a small outlet for the sale of publications and other products, a provisions store, bakery and kitchen. The Ashram publishes a journal, holds study camps and has an extensive healthcare programme.
