I was shifting to Kolkata from New Delhi at that time. Since I had no internet connection till now, I was unable to write this review. The person in-charge agreed to pack, deliver and move our belongings in our house. 1. Packing was good. But they convinced me not to take insurance and also they took whole packing and moving amount in advance. 2. Delivery was late. Today is October 1st. 90 days since we gave our belongings to South Home packers and movers. Still our bed and mattress hasn't arrived. You judge whether to use this company or not!

The worst packers and movers that I have ever encountered. Very unprofessional and cheats. They took more than 25 days for delivering the household items. They promised 5-10 days. Almost all items were severely damaged and needed repairs. Especially the plasma TV and AC. The metal almirah was almost in crushed state. It has been 65+ days now and still a bed and mattress are yet to arrive. Repeated calls to them go unanswered or they say "will call later with update". Don't take insurance since they don't give any insurance papers. They pocket that money. All in all this is the worst experience I had with moving companies.
