I was approached by a girl called Maya..no 9990639857 on 9/9/13 as I had placed an inquiry on the net for a domestic maid. After much discussion, she landed at my house on 13.9.13 with a 28 year old very decent looking woman with all the paper work and her election card copy for proof of identity. She took Rs 21000/- ( 18000 registration for 15 months + 1 month salary of Rs 3000/-) and promised that they would replace etc etc if anything wrong.
After 15 minutes, the girl disappeared! No one is picking up on any of the nos.
I have filed a police report and am attaching her election card and receipt as proof.
Please advise as to what helpless senior innocent citizens like us can do with such gangs which seem to be working by using the net
