Indian traditional food never interested me, but Rajdhani Thali changed me perception. I came here on a friendz lunch party not expecting much from the food.I was aware that there were no specific orders or menus here, only thalis for all. The servers brought the food moments after we ordered. The plate was full of effervescent looking dals, curries and vegetables with pickles and roti. The first bite I had impressed me to extremes. The food was perfectly balanced with a great fusion of all flavors and aromas. The server noted that I liked spicy food and brought some extra chilies. The servers ensured that the food is served properly and in appropriate proportion. They did not force me into faster consumption. Rajdhani Thali has a distinct ... View More
Having heard a great deal about the Rajasthani Thali restaurant, I planned a trip there. I wanted to try proper Marwari cuisine. The eatery is spacious and clean, and the staff very polite. I am a Bengali person and one who devours fish and rice like a glutton. For me vegetarian food has never been of much interest, but my experience at Rajdhani has now completely changed my view. I had gone to my friend’s place, who treated us there. When I came to know that it is complete vegetarian restaurant, I cribbed a lot as I was a hardcore non-vegetarian. When we were seated and served the starters, I was very happy to eat new things like khandvi and dhokla for the first time. Then slowly as the main course arrived, I enjoyed my meal very quietly which amused my friends a lot. I could feel the goodness in each and every bite I took. My friends pulled my leg about my change of heart and the way they saw me gulping the food. Thanks ... View More
