Recently I heard that your prestigious institute was going to arrange a lecture/talk on Harmonium by Arvind Thhate of Pune. When I found out what he was going to talk about I was appalled about great institute like ABGMM even considering such a negative content to be on their agenda. This would certainly be harmful to the reputation of this institute. Wonder if any responsible person in the staff ever attempted to stop this non-sense. but I am very disappointed with the functioning of the people who have been given the rights to run this institution and conduct exams. We in US are honored to be able give the exams but the managing committee has no clue of requirements here. The center is in NJ and everyone has to be present at the center to give exam. They do not understand that it is not cheap to travel by plane for an exam.
Cannot compare rupee to $. For April/May 2011, they changed the date for the written exam without consulting with anyone in the US. We have Spring break and people booked vacations based on the date given before.
