My first question is that why she gave a 'pain killer injection' to the 9month pregnant woman. Supporters pls answer me.
Dr. Chayalatha is one of the most reputed doctors in Udipi, karnataka. She is a down to earth person with a very approachable attitude. She is the kind of doctor one would want to have by her side while going through pregnancy. She is experienced, confident and practical.
All those who have posted meaningless negative comments, please take a step back and think. Does it look believable that a doctor who has been in successful practice for over 25 years could be negligent? If indeed she is negligent why are the patients continuing to go to her for treatment? Dr. Chhayalata has been the most successful and reputed gynecologist in Udupi. She treats her patients with utmost dedication, always available for late night deliveries, and lowest CS on record. It is unbelievable that the media and Internet are being used for spreading negative propaganda and twisting facts without knowing the truth. People should be smart enough not to believe everything they read, and use their judgement on why a doctor would cause h ... View More

Get real guys..no doctor is a fool to jeopardize their own credibility and hurt the patient. And definitely not Dr.Chhayalata..she has been the most dedicated professional I have seen. All the baseless allegations are just a part of the circus created by the TV channel particularly B TV for their own TRP.
Get your facts right next time you harp on to some issue. We all can make a difference and serve these selfish media the right kick to send some sense into their empty brains.
My heartfelt sympathies to the patients family. may God be with all of you in all your deeds.

Buddha once famously said whatever you give may it be alms or bad words, if I reject them they are not mine but yours..Namaste

To all those who make hue n cry over facts unverified my advice is to plese hold your guns. Verify facts.. there is a saying in kannada which translates to "what you have heard may be lies, what you saw too...if u think about it you may understand the fact". Dr chhyalata has been a dedicated professional for more than 25 years with the highest number patients next to KMC & TMA Pai hospital in Udupi. Do you really think all her patients who come back to her time and again are foolishand idiots? If you think so you are definitely not a worthy human being. The case has been hyped up & has been given a diiferent color by the media(unsocial) who will do anything for TRP. I humbly request all you guys to not fall over your heads in supporting t ... Very disappointed to read some of the posts sent by public. My sincere request to all I is please don't send your comments and opinions simply for sake of sending on views of others, because by doing this you are just spoiling the image of a person and her profession..I know Dr Chhayalata for last 25 years. She is a very dedicated, loyal , generous and sincere DOCTOR by profession..She has always given priority to her noble profession.. Any emergency calls she always rushed to the hospital at late night or early mornings also .She has never neglected any patient in her career. That is the reason today she is such a WELL KNOWN DOCTOR in UDUPI. Complications happen in any stage of surgery, but it doesn't mean that DR wi ... View More

Is it fair to blame the doctor without verifying the facts? I have known the doctor to be upright, honest and industrious who goes about attending to her work with due diligence. I have my own reservations for accepting the negative comments about her.
People, don't let media fool you. Use your brains and think why would a doctor want to hurt her patient and jeopardize her reputation. It makes no sense. Moreover a doctor isn't God. Please be reasonable. Also, if she has been in the occupation for so long, that itself proves that she must be a good doctor. I totally disagree with the false accusations on the doctor!
Delivery is complicated procedure with a small percentage of risk involved. Ask any doctor to give a 100% survival chances guarantee in writing prior to the delivery. He/she would mock at you showing the way out. My doctor in Mumbai had educated me of such dangers associated with child birth so that we sit up and take notice, prior to D-day. There are some forums suggested poorly equiped in hiuse facilities that might have caused death. People had fantastic suggestions like double parking space in parking lot for each bed the maternity hospital holds, state of the art facilities in each maternity home vis-a-vis a hospital's and many more. Maternity homes not matching up to these minimum facilities must be banned. It’s good to dream. But ... View More
Most of us pass a judgement without verifying facts...because it's easy to do so and have the 'mera kya jaate hai' attitude. The doctor in question is a reputed doctor and has put in many many years of hard work to earn that name. The very reason why the patient in question went to her. She has tried her very best to save the patient and has done what was best possible. Please think twice before slandering somebody's name
