We've had problems with their halogen bulbs getting fused. We'd purchased a lamp which has 3 bulbs in it, for which 2 of the bulbs were fused and the 3rd one was functional. I brought the 2 fused bulbs to the shop, and they checked it and found that both worked. They said it may have been (1) a problem with the choke ('choke' is the transformer which reduces the voltage for the entire lamp) or (2) a problem with 2 of the bulb holders, or maybe (3) a problem with wire being cut inside the lamp. I went back home and I shifted the working bulb to the other two bulb holders of the lamp and found it worked in all three slots.
