Hi,
I had gone to Apollo dental care present in Adayar for a general checkup / filling one of my front teeths (which I had already filled long time back and since its been a long time thought of getting it refilled).
At first, the so called dentist told she needs to take 2 X-rays as she had found (supposedly found) some tooth decay but later she told that there is no issue with those 2 teeths but there is some issue with another teeth and I might need to do a root canal treatment for that teeth for which I immediately said NO...
Next the so called dentist started cleaning my teeths but the water pumping machine stopped to work so she shifted me to another room.. in the middle of treatment again the water pumping machine stopped wo ... View Morerking in that room also and she shifted me again to another room. In the new room the suction machine stopped wrking... finally after all these hiccups she completed (to some extend) cleaning..
Next she started to remove my old filling in my front teeth.. again the suction machine stopped workng and after a very rough ride my old filling was removed.. after removing my old filling she told that she needs to take one more X ray of my frontal teeth to check cavities.. After the X rays came she told that she need to do a root canal treatment for my front teeths also as its damaged (thats the gist of what she told)... I got very much disappointed at this point.. If she had suggested me to go for a root canal for my frontal teeths before I would have said a plain NO.. instead she removed my previous fillng and then suggested that I need to do a root canal surgery and also she told that she cant do a permanent filling...
Finally she did a temporary filling and told that she will consult with seniors doctors with my X rays and will confirm me whether she will be able to do a permanent fillng...
My simple question is
I never had any pain or any bad issues with my front teeths except that it had gaps before and it had been filled long time back...in this case why should I go for root canal surgery which indirectly disables those teeths?
next question is if she (so called dentist) would have told me about root canal surgery for my frontal teeths before removing my filling I would have asked her to stop removing the filling at that time itself..
Currently I am in a pathetic situation (without any fillin in my frontal teeths)..
My humble request to you all ...pleaseee do no go to Apollo Dental care.. I wouldnt say that all other dental clinics are good but its just that I dont want others to suffer from same situation as mine..
Thanks,
