This is to put into your notice that I have shifted my Airtel connection from prepaid to postpaid through 'My Airtel' app on 7th April' 19. As a result, all outgoing calls stopped on my number.
Thereafter, an Airtel executive (Akhil Roy) called at my number from mobile number 9810692585 & asked me for the address verification. Since I was out of town, I requested him to meet at my place (home) in the evening to which he agrees. In the evening, he neither received my call nor visited my home for verification.
Next morning, I called him and he assured me to verify my address on the same day. But, did not proceed with this process. I even tried reaching him several times but he didn't respond to my calls, messages or emails.

View Morescussed this issue at Airtel customer care, who told me that my calls are abandoned due to address verification & I need to visit the nearest Airtel store with a copy of the document. On 8th April, I visited Airtel store (Shop No 17 near Metro Hospital, Sector 12, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301) where I met Dharmendra, mobile no. (9999701787). He told me that he will send an email to their executive for the address verification. On asking how can I track or get an update on the issue, he said that he has emailed to their executive who will definitely visit at my address. However, he denied sharing the email with me.
No one visited my place for address verification till the date. Though he (Dharmendra) responded me for 2-3 days mentioning that executive will visit at my address but no one visited. And, the worst thing is that he stopped receiving my calls thereafter.
Can someone suggest me what should I do now? What action/s shall I take? I am extremely disappointed with such a miserable, misleading and poor communication with Airtel. I had a very bad customer dealing experience with Airtel.View Less
