YMCA: For overall development through education. YMCA has various vocational training schools for office management, business studies, media studies, information technology and career studies. It has a department dedicated to the social upliftment of the urban poor by providing childcare, community healthcare, adult education, legal literacy and income-generating programmes. It runs a family counselling centre. Dalits are provided a platform for self-realisation and the opportunity to be heard. A department for public affairs arranges events to increase awareness of socio-economic issues. The centrally-located YMCA Tourist Hostel has conference facilities as well as rooms for all budgets.
