A doctor has a moral responsibility to attend to the patients in emergency cases. The Apollo clinics were initially opened for the purpose so that medical services can be provided locally and urgently. But when the doctor refuses to pick up the call from the clinic as well asking about the next steps in case of emergency, then there is no meaning of these Clinics. Better shut them down. In case of emergency if the local doctor don't responds and tells that he picks up the call between 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, he should better work in a government hospital. Dr. Akram should be sacked by Apollo Administration for negligence of duty and his medical license be revoked in lieu of lying during the Hippocratic Oath he has taken when he was conferred the degree of doctor.
