Highly un-professional.. being run like a mom-pop shop. I called for an appointment and was told that the attendant will call back to give a slot. I waited for 30 mins and called back only to hear that i was acting impatient and i can't expect the call attendant to call back so soon as she was driving (now you tell me)! I didn't call them at an unearthly hour..my first call went at 10.26am and second at 11.05am! High headed, un-professional - guess they have too many customers already.
I visited Inhabit at Banjara Hills along with my husband another couple friend of ours to buy a sofa. Like any other plush store they treated us very well and ensured about the quality of the product. We both liked a dark brown leather sofa priced at 80,000 (55,000 at discount) and we placed our respective orders for the same item. After 3-4 months, the sofa leather started wearing off from hand-rest and in no time we started seeing cuts all over the cushions! We called our friends to check how their sofa was faring and were shocked to learn that they too are facing the same problem! We have kids and our usage is more but this friend couple have no children, both of them are working, there is hardly any usage. We visited the store and told them about the issue. We took along the sofa cusion to show them. They offered repair work @ Rs.8,000/ cushion i.e. a cool Rs. 1,12,000 to fix 5 cushions, 5 back rests & 4 handrests! I was flabberghasted and explained that we bought the sofa only 6 months back and we expected a replacement or free repair. He refused to entertain us. We reached another furniture store to get the repair done at a cheaper price. To our utter surprise we found out that the soft is not complete leather! Only sitting cushions were in leather and rest all was rexene! We felt so cheated and vulnerable that we decided to move to consumer court against the store.I urge everyone to join us in this fight against businesses who take customers for a ride.
