Bercos- Perfect place to ruin your Day! I will just explain you the incidence that happened, and rest is up to you to decide. So, it was my birthday and I planned to celebrate it at Bercos, CP after going through reviews and menus on websites like this one. I called them on the phone, they said they take no reservations, but, they insisted I should just come half an hour before the scheduled time, book my table for 8-10 people and they will give it to me For SURE. I confirmed twice, and even called the next day to confirm that I WILL get a table with maximum waiting time of 30 minutes, on the particular day. They also told me they have a birthday discount and assured that they do have birthday celebrations like this, and they will b ... மேலும் காண்க e able to manage. I confirmed and called my friends at 4 pm. Now, on the birthday, I reached at 3 pm, booked the table for 10 people. They have two floors- first and ground. First they said they will give me a table on first floor in 30 minutes maximum, and asked us to wait outside. I kept waiting and waiting. Other People in the restaurant kept coming and going and we kept waiting. 30 minutes passed no table. 45 minutes, no table. I went and talked to the manager. He also gave false reassurances of getting the table ready in 5 minutes again & again. But these people FAIL at managing. Could not get any table cleared, people kept moving out, kept going in. It was 4 pm, my friends started arriving. Manager came and said NO, he cannot give me a table at first floor now. I was like -are you KIDDING ME?! I told him to get me a table ready at ground floor then, since there was no other option. And it repeated all over again, they kept us waiting and waiting, and guess what? We got a table at 5 pm. That is 2 HOURS. 2 hours late. That is how their management is. And after that, in the end they gave the bill without the birthday discount they offered. I told this to the person in charge, and she was VERY ARROGANT. She said I should have informed them before, and now no discount will be given. Then she came with an excuse that discount is only Mon-Thursday! This crossed the limit. I went to the manager, almost yelled at him, for first keeping us waiting for 2 hours, then this. I was TOLD on phone and that day itself about the discount. Why this now? It is not as much about the amount as it is about what is right & wrong! We as consumers should NEVER allow such misleading practices to continue. Finally they gave the discount, but my mood was spoiled, all thanks to them. If not for my friends, the day would have been totally ruined, for which this restaurant tried its best. So, m y suggestion is that NEVER go there if you are a group of more than 4 people. In fact, do not go there at all. I liked them when I went last year, but they have degraded to a large extent now. If they are charging us some price, at least maintain quality food.
