I have very bad experience of Dr Saumyajit Basu. I went to him on 7th november 2013 with prolapsed disc at L5-S1 level with lower back pain radiating to the left leg for 2 weeks. I could not sit or stand or walk. On studying my MRI, he suggested waiting for 2 more weeks with medicine and physiotherapy, stating that 80% cases are naturally cured within 4 weeks. He gave me steroids without mentioning it, though he was informed that I am a diabetic for last 12 years. The pain and movement problems did not subside in these 2 weeks, but due to steroid my blood sugar level shooted up and I had mouth ulcers which called for further treatment and discomfort. After 2 weeks, he again saw me and said that there is not much improvement, but still did n ... மேலும் காண்கot suggest surgery. He gave me medicine for another 3 weeks and advised me to get back to normal activity. But the pain was becoming in-tolerable, so I contacted neurosurgeon Dr Prasad Krishnan and spine surgeon Dr Abrar Ahmed. Both of them mentioned that it was already late and suggested immediate surgery, as the prolapsed disc was putting pressure on the nerves and there was already sensory loss in the left leg. I also contacted Dr Yogesh Pithwa of Hosmet hospital over e-mail and sent him all the reports, his disgnosis was the same - immediate surgery. I have had the surgery done on 26th november under Dr Abrar Ahmed and now I am fine. Dr Saumyajit Basu does not even know to read a MRI plate properly - when all renowned doctors suggested surgery seeing the same MRI report, he was only delaying the cass for reasons best known to him. Does he understand that a person losing total mobility can not wait for indefinite period when the only option is surgery? Why did he do this to me? I shall never recommend him to anyone suffering like me.குறைவாகக் காண்க
