Contd: .... When we âchallengedâ the doctor in Morpheus IVF center (Dr Mangala) she started defending that these CLUMAX guys donât know what they are doing etc , then we asked her to open our reports and asked every day (Day15-19) lining numbers and we had similar reports from CLUMAX (different scan doctors) and all the numbers were different (it was shown as growing in Morpheus IVF center reports And climax showed a flat 4 mm) . When this was asked Dr Managla admitted that their center did not have advanced machine (costing 45 lakh) as CLUMAX guys have and itâs hard for her to be that accurate â â we were speechless when we heard this , she actually fooled us by stating our lining was 10 mm while in reality it might have be ... మరిన్ని చూడండి

We had a horrible experience in Morpheus IVF center Indirnagar , Bangalore . Me and my wife were referred by our doctor to this clinic for IVF and met Dr.Mangala the following week. There was elaborate drama of check-ups and case history written down after which we were put on "Batches" . We were due for the next batch - as if we were some "goods" to be packaged :( . We were given multiple package deals and the one we settled for was a âDual cycle packageâ which assured us that if we have a failed 1st cycle the next cycle would be done free and the total charge was around 1,50,000 /- rs . I (Husband) was asked to give a Sperm sample for analysis & storage (freezing) , one week later when i came to collect my report they said that i ... మరిన్ని చూడండి have an issue with my testicals and need to keep my options open for a TESA (retrieval of sperm from testcials - costing around 7 K rupees, i was sure there was nothing wrong ) . I protested and asked for re-test as they failed to freeze the sperm sample (again a miss from their side) and the results came normal ! (Started suspecting them right there ... but did not mind the small hiccups as my wife was getting a feeling that the treatment given was good and personal attention was provided ). Later, Once the treatment started my wife was on regular injections which was prescribed by the doctor and available only in their store/clinics â they try to sell these medicines saying âyou will have difficulty getting the exact dosage/brand outside , please pick from our lab/chemistâ . We unknowingly brought the medicines from them for which they only accept Cash and no receipt is provided . They have claimed almost 50,000/- rs as âDrug Chargesâ for the treatment. We happened to check out the same medicines in general medical store and it was 50% cheaper ï . My wife has a syndrome called âAshermen Syndromeâ (AS) which effects the endometrium lining and without proper triple layer thickness of endometrium lining the embryoâs cannot implant itself in IVF cases . So the deal was âif the lining comes more than 8 mm we will transfer the embryoâs , else we freeze them and transfer in next cycleâ which we believed was a fair option and went ahead with the treatment . We were consistently told that the lining is improving and uterus is responding well for the medicine â eggs were retrieved and we had 3 good grade embryoâs which were transferred on a day wherein the lining was around 10 mm (which was very good and does not grow that much for a patient having AS grade 2 ï) . After 2 weeks wait we were asked to give a blood sample and the blood report came ânegativeâ for pregnancy ï . All hopes shattered and back to square one ï . After some days when we went to meet the doctor (Dr Managla) she started preaching us to start looking at surrogacy options the first time we meet her after the ânegativeâ result , we were quite taken aback by the attitude of this doctor as she had already given up and was convincing us to go for surrogacy . We insisted that itâs not over yet , we want to try and she suggested alternative medicines like âacupunctureâ and referred to another doctor in JP Nagar . This doctor (naturopathy) started âacupunctureâ and she asked us to have regular scan (in CLUMAX) to monitor the lining thickness during the course of âacupunctureâ . To our dismal the lining was less than 4 mm and it remained so for day 14-19 with marginal improvementâs . Just as a check we went back to Dr Mangala and asked her to check the lining on Day 14 & Day 19 and she reported 7 mm thickness in her scan reports which she was reluctant to give us as a copy ! . We went to CLUMAX the same day (Day14/Day19) and found that the thickness never improved more than 4 mm .
