Indian Institute Of Plantation Management: Set up by the Government of India to modernise the plantation sector, Indian Institute of Plantation Management was registered as an autonomous educational institution in 1993, and is jointly sponsored by the Coffee Board, Tea Board, Rubber Board, Spices Board and Plantation Associations. With state-of-the-art facilities that include a well-stocked library, advanced labs, hostel and sports centres, this institute acts as an intellectual resource for the different plantation industries and agri-business sectors.
