Bombay Natural History Society: Contact the Society to learn about conservation and research, and to do your bit for the future. Backed by the Government of India, the Bombay Natural History Society seeks to document and conserve India's natural heritage, with a focus on environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources. Its late president, the renowned and celebrated ornithologist, Dr Salim Ali, believed that conservation must be based on scientific research.
