Parsi General Hospital: This donation-driven community hospital since 1905 has been a haven for Parsees and was recently conferred the Urban Heritage award for architecture. Patients compare the hospital to a five-star hotel with features such as best of doctors, subsidised facilities and amenities like telephone, TV and air conditioned rooms. The hospital is known mainly by word of mouth due to the fact that it is for the close knit Parsi community. Courses in fields such as nursing are also offered here.
