I came for watching Titanic with 4 of my office colleagues on Apr 05 for the 6:40 PM show; however, I was shocked to witness the rude behavior of the support staff who were not at all empathetic and failed to even provide any service/or a willing positive attitude and showed no willingness to listen to my complaint and hence I am reaching to you vi ... I came directly from office for a movie on Apr 05, I was carrying my laptop with me. I was not told at first instance to keep my bag separately as your premises lack these services. There is no provision to keep them unlike other better movie halls in Sector 18, Noida like Big Cinemas who believe in providing value-add services to the customers that pay 300 bucks for a movie ticket. The manager asked me in a rude tone to go back and keep my laptop in my car, since I was availing a cab facility I had to go back to my home (spend another 100 bucks on auto) and miss 50 minutes of the movie.
The manager didnât offer any possible solution and kept endlessly talking about something written at the back of ticket in small font, without even listening or providing a solution. Providing basic facilities is a necessity in the service sector that most players abide by, and it seems Spice Cinemas seems to lack.
To my surprise, this poor service quality, lack of infrastructure and attitude was not enough to ruin the movie experience; the movie itself was not 3D except the price of ticket. There was a total lack of the basic infrastructure to showcase a 3D movie, the 3D glasses had scratches for one of my friend, the movie didnât appear 3D at all with ghostly images surrounding the entire 3 hour+ long movie, infact the movie seemed fine without 3D glasses which can never be a case for a 3D movie.
I will look forward to a necessary action; although I have decided not to visit Spice Cinemas again given the pathetic experience and ruining the movie, which is a must-watch movie!!

Spice Cinemas in Noida, which is considered to be one of the best cinemas
in NCR and one of the costliest too, it was an agonizing experience when we
went to see the 10:20 PM show of the movie "The Town" on Saturday, October
9th 2010.
The projector of the Audi 5, where the movie is being featured, was faulty
and still the irresponsibl ... View Moree and arrogant management went ahead to sell out
the tickets. What was worse to know, was the fact that the projector has
been in a faulty condition for over the past 6 months and no measures have
been taken to correct it.
When the viewers, including us, protested against this, nothing was done to
sort out the issue and a good 2 hours of our time was wasted. No one from
the senior management was available or showed any interest in coming over
to sort things out.
To make the situation worse, the management sent over some cops to disburse
the viewers. The cops were clearly in no mood to listen to the viewers and
were just supporting the staff of Spice cinemas. No compensation or apology
was given to the viewers who did not get to see the movie and wasted 2
hours of time hoping that some justice would be done.
But then it's India where bribery and bureaucracy prevails and all
Government departments shine in this. This was just another example.
Well, I think whoever was there for the movie yesterday, will think twice
before visiting Spice Cinemas. View Less

2) The stupid-manager is highly irrational. Spice cinemas sold some coupons for a special offer under which if you carry the coupon, you would get some disc ... View Moreounts. The coupon is quadruple-folded card of size around 8*10 inch which could never fit in a wallet. Normally Spice people don't allow you to carry anything except the wallet n cellphone ( No Bags, gadgets.. nothing). Me being a smart guy took out one of the coupons from the card ( there were 16 movie coupons in total) and presented it at one of their ticket counters on the ground floor. Ummm...Then lady at the counter asks for the whole booklet.
I told her gently : " I am giving you the 4 digit card number and the coupon" , why do you need the whole mammoth card ? My name is "Saurabh" , my phone number is ********** . I am giving you the card number , you can ensure that I was the one who bought it.
Lady : We don't have any such data.
Me: Then what for did you had a piece of coupon-card with the 4 digit number and my signature on it , while buying the card. Last time when i carried it to Spice Cinemas , i forgot it in the theater. Now somebody else might be using it. Why should i risk in by carrying all the coupons ?
Lady: Sir , we have been ordered to do so and not issue the tickets unless you present the whole sheet of coupons.
Me: Can i talk to your manager ?
Lady: Sir , you can go to 3rd floor. Wahan bheed bhi kam hoti hai , manager bhi mil jaayenge wahi.
Me: with a sad but annoyed look , OK
I went to the 3rd floor to talk to the guy who seemingly looked like a manager.
Me: I was denied the offer which comes with this coupon for not carrying the whole coupon-card. Do you expect customers to carry an A-4 sized coupon , everytime they buy a ticket ?
Manager: Yes . Its written on the coupon.
Me: I am giving you my cellphone number , my identity card , coupon number and the coupon itself. What for you need all the coupons ?
Manager: Sir , its written on the coupon that you should carry the card whenever you want to avail the offer. ( then gives a I don't care.look)
Me: I am a literate, i can read that too. Whatâs your rational behind that ? It very inconvenient to carry the coupon. Moreover , last time when I lost it , there was no way to track and stop somebody from mis-using those cards. Why should I risk losing all the cards ?
Manager: Sir , its written on the coupon that you have to carry it. (For the 50th time , like a Music player in repeat mode ) If you lose it , we canât do anything.
Me: Thank you !!!
A not so gorgeous lady behind me (in the Queue)
Lady2 : Excuse Me â¦â¦..Excuse Meâ¦â¦â¦â¦..Excuse Me
Me: Yes .. Please go aheadâ¦â¦â¦â¦.
The coupon guy leaves the counter and comes back ;) Thatâs the end of the story.
