I was there the last week of December, as I was staying at The Park, and it was a convenient place to go and chill. And I enjoyed every bit of it, as bands like Pseudonym rocked the place. I have listened to a lot of live bands in Delhi, and Bangalore, but these guys were a class apart. Next evening was another band, equally good. The ambience is of a Irish pub, the crowd is there to do just what you are there for, but the bar is not that well stocked I must say. There was only Fosters one evening. Rest on all counts, I would recommend this place for all people who want the best live music in Kolkata, and drink at quite affordable prices. if you can see through the queer sounding name then Someplace Else totally rocks..!!..they have a live band playing every night nd by 9 the place gets packed(not surprising considering the massive underground rock culture prevalent in the city)...compared to other pubs/lounges the prices were also pretty decent...4/5
