I have given my mobile for repair over here. And I would recommend to people that dont ever do the mistake I did. Go the authorised service center, it will cost you more money, though prefer it. There the guys will give u guarantee. But here if you go with one problem, they will fix it , but the other will rise up and they will simply say it is a board problem.
And people here will take months to fix this.
So if are ready to live without a mobile for say 2 or 3 months.Pls go ahead. No guarantee you will get it after 2 or 3 months

The other day, probably bored of life in my shirt pocket, my mobile jumped into the sink. The tap was still running and water splashed all over it. I quickly retrieved it and wiped it dry as best I could. Water didn't seem to have gone in, but I held it under the hand drier as well for good measure. A little while later though, I found that it had stopped responding. I opened the cover and to my dismay found a few drops glistening inside. Back it went under the hand drier. No drops to be seen now, but it didn't work. A knowledgeable friend suggested taking it apart and leaving the parts in a warm place for a couple of days to see if it would get fixed. Being a Motorola, the first thing was to check on the web where they had their authorized repair centres. No luck â they seemed to have disappeared, though I remembered going to a Motorola repair centre somewhere in Jayanagar several years ago. This was in the back of my mind as I drove to work the next day. A sign board caught my eye â it was asklaila.com . So on getting back home I checked for mobile repair shops near Marathahalli. There were many, so I picked the nearest which happened to be near Kundalahalli Gate and went there the next day. The technician opened the phone and announced that the keypad PCB would have to be replaced. OK, so when could I have it fixed? As soon as they could get the part. The part was elusive though â when I called two days later, they still hadn't got it after scouring the SJ Park area. And so Saturday dawned. I was getting prepared to shell out several thousand rupees on a new phone when I thought I'd try another place. Marathahalli seemed a better place to try and asklaila showed a place called Sagar Mobiles. So I headed over and the technician there opened the phone. Could he repair it? Yes and he had the chip which needed to be replaced. I was ecstatic. It took him just over half an hour and for Rs 350, my phone worked again ! Morals of the story: 1.Use a mobile holder so that you don't have to keep it in a shirt or trouser pocket. Since this occurred to me while I was waiting for the phone to be repaired and the shop had them, I selected one after the phone was ready. Rs 150 is a small price to pay to keep your phone out of trouble. It also lends a certain swagger. You can whip out your phone like a revolver or dagger (depending on the orientation of the holder) when it rings and ceremoniously replace it when you're done. 2.If at all your phone gets wet, dismantle it immediately and dry it as thoroughly as possible.
