It's just okay.. not great.. daal baati choorma is good.. rest bland.. if u have been to chokhi dhani and nakhrali dhani.. it's far worse than them.. dont hv too much expectations from this place.. it's just fine.
Chowka was recommended by a friend who stays near Tippasandra, and me and the wife decided to give it a try during a weekend. As I walked up the stairs, I saw these cute sculptures of a woman making rotis and feeding it to the men. Suppliers were dressed in traditional wear. That was about the only good thing other than the welcome drink. The place isn't air-conditioned, and no fans were available near our seat. I gulped down the drink before our plates could be placed. Was mildly surprised when the drink was brought again, but I wasn't the one to complain. The rotis were good and soft; however the sabjis and curries were bland. The service was quick and fast though. Would recommend it as a food joint; but certainly not a place for dining.
hi good place to have rajesthani food in a rajesthaani decor, served by people in rajesthaani attire, a complete mixture of great food, speacialy the daal baati they serve. look n feel is upto the mark , good value for money.. only Thali-100/- menu changes everyday so check it before going, but daal baati is served everyday reach soon as u may need to wait in queue even on weekdays
