I had a few guests at home. And I ordered a couple of non-veg dishes and veg biryanis for home-delivery from Nandini, Frazer town. I opened the veg biryani only to find out that it was spoilt. When I called back, the order taker replied "mistakes do happen" as though he was accustomed to such feedback. A nightmare and embarrsing for me that night when I could not serve my veg guests.
Just a week ago, for my last order from nandini, Sankey road, the container containing raitha had leaked and the delivery was a total mess. "mistakes do happenâ¦"
I was discussing the incidents with my friend when he complained of a lizard in his food. That was last he ordered or ate from Nandini restaurants.
