Most people know of Meru as the airport taxi but it can actually be a lot more than that. They are always on time and are also very cost effective. So if you do not wish to step inside the crowded local trains of Mumbai, call a Meru and you won't be disappointed

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. LEFT ME STRANDED.
On past 4 occasions whenever I have tried to book cabs with Meru even with sufficient advance notice, I was told that "sorry cabs and not available".

The waiting time for a Meru Cab has decreased. Glad that Meru is taking corrective measures.
My experience yesterday was very similar to the commenter on Jan 10. I booked online for going to cantonment station at 7.15 pm for 8.15 pm. I thought it is done. I grew suspicious when I didn't get any SMS or E-mail till 7.45 and I called their helpline and selected booking status [option 2]. After 15 minutes wait I got a representative who told me there is no such booking [apparently online bookings go into a blackhole] and put me in another queue for new booking where I had to wait for another 13 minutes only to be told that there is no cab available till 12.30 am! I wasted 30 minutes to know that their online booking doesn't work and there is no cab - excellent!

Would like to share one of my experience with Meru's. Once was I was traveling by a Meru cab, I didn't have the time to read the paper that morning. I asked the cab driver to stop by the news paper stand. The driver politely volunteered to buy me the news paper. This kind gesture actually made my day. I was unaware that Meru cab drivers are actually trained to go the extra mile, to make their customers travel experience memorable.
I love Meru cab and i prefer Meru cab services to any other cab service in the city. Its been long now that I have been using Meru services, and I always recommend my friends to use Meru services for their traveling.
Their tagline "Rely on us" is justified as they provide excellent services and I rely on them for services anytime and anywhere.
I am thankful to the wonderfull serice provided by Meru Cabs. I was partying hard the other night, so over drank, was not in the condition to drive back hme. Thanks to my friend who suggested me Meru. Called dem, n booked 1 cab. Had a safe journey, reached safely.:)
